These are articles were written for the ISLAMiCommentary website/blog by undergraduate, graduate students, MA students, and PhD students from Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University, University of California Irvine, New York University, Temple University, Columbia University, and St Antony’s College at Oxford University, which I (Julie Poucher Harbin) curated and edited. I mentored and guided these students in their write-ups of academic events, opinion pieces, and first-person narratives (some originating from their study abroad blogs). ISLAMiCommentary was part of the Carnegie Corporation of New York-funded Transcultural Islam Project based at the Duke Islamic Studies Center.
