Before I joined Wells Fargo, I worked as a contractor at Organic Inc., an ad agency serving brands like DaimlerChrysler and Best Buy. At both stops, I enjoyed the discipline of digital marketing — crafting fun email campaigns, banner ads, ATM screen messaging, and other targeted pieces built to reach the right audience at the right moment. Whether the goal was awareness, conversion, or retention, I had to understand my audience well enough to deliver content capable of grabbing their attention.

Writing for these channels sharpened my ability to communicate with purpose. Digital marketing forces you to make every word count — to understand the constraints of the medium and adapt to evolving formats without sacrificing voice or relevance. It taught me how to think strategically about user intent and deliver value quickly.

Today, I leverage that foundation to write with intention, and to design content that meets people where they are with language that’s efficient and human.
