Wouldn’t it be great to know how often your articles are being shared, liked, tweeted and retweeted, and even commented on social media? Not just when you yourself post them, but when anybody posts them.
That’s exactly what the Social Media Impact feature offers. You’ll find it in the left sidebar navigation:

Authory reports interactions on Twitter/X, Facebook and Pinterest currently. We are working on an integration of LinkedIn.
You have two sections in your Social Media Impact analytics: the Overview, and the Details per article.
Overview
The top chart shows you the social media interactions that your articles published within the last 30 days have received. The chart displays those interactions per day and breaks them down by interactions on Twitter/X, Facebook and Pinterest. You can hover any day to see the details for said day:

Below the top chart, you’ll find two charts that break down the aggregate social media interactions over the past 30 days by network and by source:

Details per article
The second section shows the social media interactions on a per article basis. How many Facebook Shares, Reactions and Comments did a piece get? How many Tweets or Pins? You can check and compare the metrics for every single article in your account.
By default, the list is ordered by date with the newest article at the top:

However, you can easily reorder the list by any of the social media metrics, e.g. sort it by number of tweets, starting with the highest:

In addition, you can filter the results by date or by source, and even search them. You’ll find all these options above the table.
The different options to sort and filter the Social Media Impact table enable you to surface all sorts of insights into how your work performs on social media:
- What's been my most successful article ever on Twitter/X?
- What was my most commented article on Facebook in 2023?
- Which article that I wrote on "Apple" has received the most shares?
- How do the articles that I wrote for publication X compare in terms of social media success to articles I wrote for publication Y?
Note: You can find the social media interactions per article not only in your Social Media Impact section, but also on every single article details page:
