Do you want Mike Flanagan's The Haunting series to return?

Mike Flanagan recently reaffirmed that his Haunting anthology series won't be getting a new season as he stated, in response to a fan's question, "that chapter of my life is closed". Frankly, I'm actually okay with this, as he not only has a number of other things in the works that I'm thrilled about, but I also feel like he has moved on nicely from the anthology franchise to telling other stories.

I personally thought he was best in the nun 2 he was epic as being the nun she possed him and it was awesome and then the sister saved him oh man i can't stop watching the nun and nun 2 just beacause of him and yes the haunting of bly manor was really really good as well

That's actually a different actor, though I can see how you'd get them mixed up, they're both great performers and, with the beard, look a lot alike!

Although many have been struggling with Outer Banks in the last couple seasons, the most recent season had an ending that shocked and bothered viewers. After a concerining season, JJ Maybank was killed off during the finale of Outer Banks season 4. With an unsatisfying ending for the character and the viewers, I’m still distraught over JJ’s untimely demise and wondering how the Pogues move forward.

Honestly, I couldn't have more praise for The Rings of Power season 2 after the finale. This was the first episode of the series where I had zero complaints or nitpicks, and I'm just thrilled at how well everything came together. Sauron and Celebrimbor's story, which I found to be the most consistently strong all season, was perfectly brutal in the end. Adar being betrayed by the orcs was shockingly devastating, everything with Gandalf was terrific, and all of the elf characters, particularly Galadriel and Gil-galad, feel perfectly fantastical. I can't wait for more.

Currently, I'd have to answer this question with either The Lord of the Rings or The Wheel of Time. However, I fully believe if A Song of Ice & Fire is completed, it will easily hold my number one position. I think it takes many of the best elements of Tolkien's world and mixes them with contemporary characteristics and narrative styles, but I couldn't call an incomplete series the greatest.

Do you think Georgie's visits to his father's grave in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will become a regular thing?

Despite its name, I'm starting to think that Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is less about the pair's relationship and more about Georgie's grief after George Sr.'s death. I thought his visit to the grave was a beautiful moment, and Steve Holland's comments about him doing this as a form of therapy makes a lot of sense. I hope that we'll see more scenes like this, as it's a great storytelling device and a way for audiences to get a better understanding of Georgie's mindset.

Despite three acclaimed seasons before it, Paramount+ is ending Evil with season 4, leaving many longtime fans of the show disappointed in the decision, and I am certainly one of them. While the buildup to the apocalypse with the birth of the Antichrist does feel well-suited to close the show out soon, season 4 feels a little too early, with a fifth season seeming better suited to not rush this kind of conclusion, and while it's unclear how the show will end, I would nonetheless love to see more investigations from Ben, David and Kristen.

A recent interview teased Maggie having a romance in FBI season 7, and OA could be a potential love interest. I like the idea of Maggie getting into a relationship in FBI season 7 because she deserves support, especially with Ella. This is also why OA would be a good choice for her love interest, as they’ve been through so much together, it would make sense for Maggie to turn to him. Their chemistry also means their friendship turning romantic would feel natural.

Grant Gustin led nine seasons of The Flash, also playing Barry Allen in multiple other DC series and several Arrowverse crossovers. Even though The Flash season 9 marked the end of the series and the Arrowverse, there are still a lot of fans who want to see Gustin return as The Flash in James Gunn's DC Universe. Gunn has said that he would love to work with Gustin in the future and that, allied to Gustin's excellent run as Barry Allen and his popularity in the role, could lead to the talented actor playing a new Flash in the DCU.

ABC recently confirmed that Grey’s Anatomy season 21 will premiere on Thursday, September 26 at 10 p.m., a later time spot. The medical drama is also facing budget issues, leading to character exits. This begs the question of whether it’s time for Grey’s Anatomy to finally call it quits; many viewers already have. I stopped regularly watching Grey’s Anatomy briefly at the end of season 12 and only began watching the show live again when season 19 premiered with the new interns. With all the changes Grey’s Anatomy is already making, I’m worried about future seasons and what the show will do to the characters I love. I’ll keep watching Grey’s Anatomy if it continues past season, but it might not be the best decision for the series.

Grey’s Anatomy season 21 will feature Meredith Grey despite her exit during Grey’s Anatomy season 19. Since she left, she has been a constant fixture in the series, popping in and out of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, with characters occasionally traveling to Boston to visit her. Though it’s nice to see the original main character and get updates on her, her appearances can mess with the flow of the episodes, as they seem random and have to be planned around Ellen Pompeo’s schedule. I’m conflicted when it comes to Meredith leaving the show. I would like to see her in major episodes, but I don’t think she should be in as many episodes as last season.

The Walking Dead ended with season 11. At the moment, there are no plans for the series to make a return for season 12 or more, as the focus of TWD universe is on the spinoff projects that are currently airing and other possible ideas of how to push the franchise in exciting new ways. However, multiple people involved with the shows have talked about the possibility of doing a crossover event between the spinoffs, reuniting characters like Rick and Daryl at least one more time. While it should not be called season 12, that reunion has to happen at some point.

With Grey’s Anatomy season 21 premiering soon, it’s now been over 10 seasons since Sandra Oh’s Cristina Yang left the series. Cristina was and still is one of the show’s most beloved characters, and viewers like me have been waiting for her to appear for years. Though Sandra Oh has said she doesn’t plan on returning, I think it would be great to see Cristina again, especially in Grey’s Anatomy season 21. With Meredith starting her own research institute, I think season 21 would be the perfect time for Cristina to return.

I'm eternally frustrated by the decision to leave out the Prince That Was Promised prophecy from having any impact on Game of Thrones season 8, but it's still fun to theorize about possible outcomes. Given what we saw in the series, I'd still have to pick Jon Snow because he ultimately saved the realm from Daenerys. Even if he didn't kill the Night King, he's the hero of the story in the way the HBO series framed it. However, I'm still holding out hope it will be Daenerys in the books.

The Legend of Vox Machina season 3 has just killed off one of the main characters - Percival de Rolo - in one of the most brutal scenes. As he extends mercy to Ripley, she decides to shoot him, killing him. His last word is Vex, as he imagines his time with her. This occurs in season 3, episode 7, and in episode 8, Vox Machina holds a funeral for him, making it appear that he is not coming back. Seeing as he is one of the main characters, and so well-loved, I cannot imagine a world where they do not find a way to bring him back into the series. The real question is how long are we (and Vex) going to have to live without him?

Far too many really good series have been canceled in 2024, including That '90s Show, Dead Boy Detectives, Minx, and Time Bandits. All of these shows deserve to continue, and not only because they have gained faithful fanbases and garnered good reviews, but because they were actually telling meaningful stories in entertaining ways. These are some of the best shows in recent memory, so it is devastating to lose them. That said, the one that makes me the most upset is losing The Big Door Prize. This is one of the most unique series on television, and it left on a massive cliffhanger that will always leave me wondering what was to come next.

Netflix recently announced that Monster season 3 would focus on the killer Ed Gein, and would star Charlie Hunnam in the lead role. Hunnam is a fantastic actor and is likely to do a great job portraying Gein. The third season aims to feel more like the first season, which featured Evan Peters as Jeffrey Dahmer. Just take one small look into the heinous crimes of Gein and you will understand that this season is not going to be for those with a weak stomach. Hunnam feels like a wonderful choice, as he has a way of bringing subtlety to his characters, which is important when taking on the role of a serial killer that hid in plain sight for a while.

When Iron Man sacrifices himself and dies at the end of Avengers: Endgame, it seems as though he likely met Lady Death herself, Aubrey Plaza's character who made her debut in Marvel's new Agatha All Along series. Coming from the original comics, Lady Death is the embodiment of death itself charged with guiding those who've crossed over to the other side. To that end, I think this means that Lady Death has been there for every major MCU death, including Iron Man's (though perhaps she doesn't always present herself so directly as she did with Alice Wu-Gulliver and Nicholas Scratch).

Even 16 years later, Tropic Thunder remains one of the most debated movies in regard to its use of blackface for Robert Downey Jr.'s character Kirk Lazarus, as he goes full method to play the movie-within-a-movie's Staff Sergeant Lincoln Osiris. Some have argued that the movie as a whole is satire, and therefore it's the opposite of "sincere" blackface, but rather is meant to mock those who have used it, while others still feel it to be egregious. While I can appreciate some who argue it would've been better as a quick joke within the movie rather than one that runs almost the whole runtime, I think the controversy is overblown, as much of South Park's satire has escaped scrutiny, regardless of how the jokes have aged.

Robert Pattinson's Batman would be perfect alongside David Corenswet's Superman based on his age and the vibe of his Gotham City, which feels like a character in its own right. However, James Gunn has recently revealed that both The Batman - Part II and Batman's The Brave and the Bold film are moving forward. It has previously been said that Pattinson's Bruce Wayne will remain in The Batman franchise while a new actor takes over as the Dark Knight in James Gunn's DCU. Based on the latest updates, there is no reason to believe that will ever change.

Bel-Air season 3 ended with some crazy cliffhangers that could be answered with a potential season 4. Peacock hasn’t renewed the series yet, but it would be a shame for the series to end when there’s clearly so much more to be explored with the characters and stories. Bel-Air is a unique reboot that honors the show it’s based on without feeling like a stale remake. I hope Bel-Air gets renewed, and I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.

Liam Neeson's Taken trilogy is one of my favorite action franchises and likely the most famous from the action star, save for Star Wars, of course. Since Taken 3 was released in 2014, Neeson has continued to star in action movies pretty constantly. However, none of them have found the same success as the Taken franchise. As such, Taken 4 could be what is missing for the action star to cap off this chapter of his career, as Neeson wants to move on from action movies. I would love to see Taken 4 with Neeson, but story-wise, it's unnecessary.
