More details have emerged around the drone attack in Maltese waters on the Freedom Flotilla ship Conscience, which prevented it from picking up volunteers, including Greta Thunberg, trying to break the blockade and deliver aid to Gaza.

The Freedom Flotilla ship The Conscience has been attacked by armed drones off the coast of Malta breaching the hull and causing a fire. Peace activists including several prominent figures are sheltering below deck in fear of further attack.

Police hired buses earlier this week and brought in reinforcements from as far as Wales in a clampdown on the freedom to protest. Nearly 80 people were arrested, and even politicians were summoned to interview under caution.

Allianz provide insurance to Elbit Systems and are thought to even have financial investments with the Israeli arms company. Surely this breaches their own human rights policy?

The University of Nottingham has gone to extremes to stop the pro-Palestine encampment that was established on campus, refusing to even engage with protesting students. But the fight is not over for the demonstrators.
