My Focus:

My work is focused on i) the people and places subjected to white-bodied colonial trauma and their resistance as a lived practice; ii) a critique of the ideology and practice of speciesism. My stories are those of the oppressed and the subjugated.

2025 Anthology: [re]Making Animal Meaning

Alongside my regular commissioned pieces, I produce a yearly anthology of work developed around a single theme. The 2025 anthology, entitled [re]Making Animal Meaning, is focused on the politics and practices of speciesism. It will explore how the ideology of speciesism establishes societal norms relating to i) animal agriculture, ii) so-called animal entertainment and iii) animal abuse in the name of tradition.
