I am a multimedia journalist with a passion for making research and hard-hitting news stories accessible to audiences of all backgrounds. I take great pride in being able to engage with and educate viewers while giving a voice to diverse communities and issues. For my high academic standing and commitment to journalism at San Francisco State University, I was awarded the Departmental Honoree upon graduation in spring of 2025.

During my time at SF State, I served briefly as the Design Editor for the university's student-run Xpress Magazine. There, I spearheaded the design team in producing visually engaging designs for reporters' stories and collaborated with other editors in transforming pitches into publishable products. Outside of education, I interned with the National Park Service's Bay Area branch to produce general assignment newsletters and internal communication products. I was tasked with transforming detail and research-heavy work into digestible, accessible and conversational material for the park's visitors.

Interests: general and special education, environmental research, social justice, social trends and California politics.
