About the Client

Konafin is a young fintech company that simplifies export financing for Indian MSMEs. At the time of my engagement, they were a two-member founding team, bootstrapped and operating in a highly competitive market dominated by well-established players.

The Challenge

When I joined, Konafin did not have a structured content engine. The founders were publishing inconsistent blogs, often generated through ChatGPT, which lacked a clear brand voice and professional polish. This not only consumed valuable founder time but also weakened credibility in a sector where trust is essential. Meanwhile, competitors had already built strong content presences, making it harder for Konafin to gain visibility.

The Goals

After discussions with the founders, we set three core goals:

Build trust in a crowded fintech and export landscape
Develop a professional, credible brand voice
Strengthen the founder’s LinkedIn presence to attract early investors and partners

My Role

I was hired as both content strategist and writer, with full ownership of the content engine. My responsibilities included:

Designing the blog strategy from scratch
Writing technically accurate and audience-relevant blogs and outlines
Creating LinkedIn content for the founder to establish thought leadership
Ensuring every piece of content aligned with Konafin’s brand positioning and values

Over my engagement, I set up a repeatable, professional content process:

Built a structured editorial calendar aligned with business goals
Produced blogs that simplified complex export financing concepts while showcasing expertise
Developed a consistent stream of founder LinkedIn posts to build thought leadership
Created a professional content voice that positioned Konafin as credible and investor-ready

The outcome was evident. Shortly after this foundation was in place, Konafin secured $125,000 in funding from Antler, a milestone supported by the credibility and professional presence their content began to reflect.
