“The great thing about having Shauna working for you is her pleasantness, promptness and effectiveness. Shauna has written a few pieces about my business that helped stir up interest and drive traffic to my store. She captured the essence of my business in a delightful way with a writing flair that is clean and easy to digest. If you have a written project for which you need a pro, Shauna is your gal.”

“Shauna did a great job in editing my eBook. She immensely improved the content without compromising my voice and she spotted a number of little issues that I wouldn’t have caught otherwise. She was also very prompt and delivered earlier than I expected. It was such a pleasure working with Shauna and I will definitely work with her again.”

I also added you on LinkedIn so I can submit a recommendation for you. :)

 Thanks again!

“Shauna is an extremely creative and skillful writer and editor.

When working on several personal projects, she was able to take my concepts and information and word them so that they appeal to the most articulate wordsmith.”

“We had the opportunity to work with Shauna Bowling recently on a company newsletter. I found her to be extremely detail oriented along with having great communication skills. Though some writers specialize within a chosen field, I found her quick study approach to jump in and research and gather additional data remarkable. She crosses her t’s and dots her i’s. A real team player and wonderful new asset to our company agenda.”

“ "I'm so excited that your book will soon be published. I look forward to reading it in its entirety. It was a pleasure to assist you with editing. I found your stories to be amazing and inspiring." (Shauna L. Bowling) Yes, my editor said this about my writing!

A writer treats a manuscript as a mother treats her baby. The editor is a trusted caregiver and a role not to be entered into lightly. My compilation of writing, a collection of fictional shorts and inspirational essays was carefully polished and refined line by line with the precise and dedicated eyes of Shauna Bowling.

Although I was not in a rush with my work, Shauna gave my work her respect and priority. She kept her word with the agreed upon return time. Due to my limited technological abilities, Shauna was exceedingly patient in making sure I understood how to interpret her suggested edits; she taught me a great deal about the process and made herself available if I had questions about any of her recommendations.

I would wholeheartedly recommend contacting Shauna for your editing/freelance writing needs. Her dedication is an A+ from this teacher. If she doesn't know the answer to a question, she is surely prepared to do the research to get the answer. That counts big time for me as well... Shauna Bowling's work is amazing.”

"In Hearts and Rainbows: A Poetic Look at Life by Shauna Bowling, we are presented with poems that do just that – present moments and ideas in a way that helps us to see and appreciate the hidden depths that can help trigger a renewed awakening of our own appreciation for the world and our place in it. Overall, the writing is simple and direct, offering a view of experience that allows the reader to understand the full of relevance through a more impressionistic sense of looking. A poem like “Destiny” charts a normal conversation in mostly prose-like dialogue. But this then transforms to a truer way of seeing and reveals an insight that helps the reader in their thoughts about the particular posed question but also mimics the kinds of transactions that have to occur – as normal life is moved to become something richer and more luminous. The title seems to this reader to be appropriate if a little general. I would have liked to have seen one of the poem’s sentiments expressed here instead of the more generic image that accompanies a thought about “poetry. The overall design of the book presents the poems on the page in a way that is open, while the cover image for the book is appropriate given the title."
