Sergio Galanti is the editor of WatchDossier, an independent publication devoted to the cultural, philosophical and market dimensions of contemporary watchmaking.

Rather than treating watches primarily as products, WatchDossier examines the systems of meaning that surround them: design, storytelling, status, scarcity, collecting behaviour, brand mythology and the changing relationship between makers and collectors.

Its editorial approach combines industry knowledge with cultural criticism and market observation. Independent watchmaking occupies an important place within the publication, but the broader subject is contemporary horology itself — how watches are made, positioned, interpreted and valued.

Galanti writes and commissions essays, reviews, interviews, market analysis and field reports, with an emphasis on independent judgement and long-form analysis.
