A recent UC Santa Barbara graduate, I studied English with a specialization in Creative Writing and minored in Professional Writing with a concentration in Journalism.

Throughout my time in college, I experienced a wide breadth of both literary and professional writing, and while I will always have a great appreciation for modern and post-modern Literature, Steinbeck being a favorite—I found the most enjoyment from journalism and the editorial world.

During my experience as an undergraduate, my work spanned international reporting, editorial leadership, literary writing, and digital media production, with a specialty intersecting arts and culture. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I learned to write with both precision and personality—finding the critical lens that makes a story both accurate and worth reading. Notably, in this process I found myself drawn to a style of journalism that earns trust—reporting that informs through in-depth, but most importantly honest storytelling.

I'm currently seeking opportunities in publishing and journalism, with a particular focus on editorial and long-form work. I'm open to staff roles, freelance assignments, and editorial internships.
