I am a fifth-year college student taking up Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences Major in Organizational and Social Systems Development at De La Salle University. Outside academics, I am a student journalist.
My journey began in 2021 when I joined The Animo, the official student publication of DLSU Manila Senior High School, as a copyreader. Come college, I entered The LaSallian, DLSU’s official student publication, as a Web Staffer in 2022, then served as Externals and Training Manager in 2023 and led as Managing Editor in 2024. I am currently an Editor at Large for the publication, carrying experiences in copywriting and article writing, primarily features and opinion. I also have backgrounds in copyreading, editorial leadership, journalism training, and event management.
I participate in other media organizations outside my university. I contribute abroad as a Reporter for Honi Soit, the official weekly newspaper of the University of Sydney in Australia, where I write analysis, culture, and STEM articles. I recently delved into radio as a host for "Media Nation On Air", a program dedicated to the practice of journalism, at Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM based in the Ateneo de Manila University. Here, I learned more about scriptwriting, live interviewing, and radio broadcast.
