Lusen Mendel is a narrative sound artist with multiple jobs. They joined Audio Flux in 2026 to assist with Circuit 07 communication and production. The make audio documentaries for Crosscurrents on KALW, The California Report Magazine on KQED, and KFOG Ocean Beach. They also work as an audio engineer and audio visual technician for SFMOMA, BATS Improv, Backyard Theater, Damato Musicals, and other theatrical shows in San Francisco.

Lusen is available for tape syncs, live sound, and field recording gigs. Their clients include The Atlantic, Radio Lab, Tradeoffs, and Movement Immigrant Orchestra.

Lusen is the founder of Audio Potlucks, a creative event series for Bay Area experimental audio artists, journalists, and musicians. Their latest projects include Audio Pals, a collaboration with sound artists across the US, and KFOG: Caves, Waves, and Awakenings, a collaborative broadcast mixtape.
