Hello everyone and Happy October! It’s time for some spooky goodness and terrifying treats. And of course at HauntedMTL, it’s our favourite time of the year. That being said, this review is a long time coming. I first had the pleasure of viewing LAST ONE ALIVE’s Michigan premier at Motor City Nightmares, a horror convention […]

The Horror Collective released this week the social justice-themed horror, SILENCE OF THE PREY! #SilenceOfThePrey @TheHorrorCo

Heading into New Mexico, the crew of STM look for information pertaining to the mysterious figure of Native American culture - the skinwalker. Through eyewitness accounts and testimonials from locals, Breedlove digs into what may be myth or what may be real.

Brannyk is tricked into watching Woody Allen’s Kafkaesque fart of a film, SHADOWS AND FOG. A film of murder, clowns, and John Cusack being an aspiring edgelord.

Gear up! Small Town Monsters heads back into the Alaskan wilderness to seek out Bigfoot in On the Trail of Bigfoot: Land of the Missing!

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I was asked if I wanted to cover the new “LGBTQ horror” film, SUMMONING SYLVIA from director/writer duo, Wesley Taylor and Alex Wyse. New LGBTQ horror can feel either very outrageous and full-on camp like Death Drop Gorgeous, Ticked Off Tr*****s With Knives, or You’re Killing […]

Have you ever wanted a movie from the 70’s where a woman gets home from work, strips down to lingerie to lounge on her couch, only to be killed and eaten by her cat? Of course, you’re a regular human, just like the rest of us. Who doesn’t fantasize about that? Well, kids, I found […]

We have a new screener from Small Town Monsters! So what’s on the […]

Halloween Party was a cold watch for me. The poster was interesting enough and Tubi just kinda started playing it. And who am I to disobey The All-Wondrous, All-Knowing Tubi? So, what is Halloween Party? What’s worth talking about since I’m here and you’re here? Well, let’s take a look. The Plot: Grace (Amy Groening) […]

CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN isn’t good. Come on, if I’m reviewing it, it know it ain’t winning any awards, except the ones in our hearts. And those fancy-schmancy award-winning movies, you can keep them. There’s something to be said in absolute schlock like, ‘Werewolves on Wheels’, and ‘Surf Nazis Must Die’ (and to a […]

SKINWALKER: THE HOWL OF THE ROUGAROU-Down by the crawdads of the bayou waters in Louisiana lives a dark and fearsome monster…er, well, maybe. He could be there to take your blood because of his abysmal curse…or just, like, ask for his stuff back. He could be there to hunt you down in the dead of […]

THREE BUSY DEBRAS is a strange, short absurdist humor series about three women all named Debra, written by and starring Sandy Honig, Alyssa Stonoha, and Mitra Jouhari.  I suppose you could say they’re busy, but it’s with general nonsense, like cartwheel championships. Usually there’s some sort of pecking order between the three as they go […]

Well, let’s jump right in and see what’s so special about SLEDGEHAMMER! The Plot: After establishing the hell out of an ordinary house, we sift through days of […]

Maybe you’ve heard of my now-defunct podcast, High Art Camp, that I made a while back with Parzz1val. In the podcast, we discussed the artistic merit of a film on a few different levels, including technical skill, total aesthetics, and cultural relevance. I usually took the low “campy” road, while Parz took the “high” artistic […]
