Having been born in a country different from my nationality, and then growing up in another country where I felt like an alien, I constantly wandered between languages and culture. It wasn’t until I moved to Japan a few years ago that I finally accepted my free-flowing identity.

“Words” are my love language. I believe there is so much beauty in “words” themselves, whether it be through books, poems, or lyrics. Being completely fluent in two languages (and currently learning a third), I am always amazed by the unique words in each language – words that can’t be translated because they’re part of that country’s culture. How is it that a few words (or maybe sentences) can capture all the pain and beauty in this world…?

I hope you will stick around for a while and get to know me better. Words on a screen may not capture everything perfectly, but I hope you will get a glimpse into my chaotic mind that speaks too much for our current-day society.

My strengths are in literary research and cultural commentary, and my work often explores the impact of media on society, especially on young adults. I have experience working under tight timelines, collaborating with peers, and adapting to different writing styles.

I hold a M.S. in Professional Writing from New York University, a B.S.M in Marketing and a B.A. in Sociology from Case Western Reserve University. When I'm not writing, you’ll find me reading, finding ways to live sustainably, and exploring the city of Tokyo, where I reside.
