Stacie Sherman is a results-driven journalist with more than three decades of experience spanning reporting, editing, newsroom leadership, and academia. Her career is defined by a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to journalistic excellence. Over the course of 28 years at Bloomberg LP, she held a range of influential roles—including reporter, editor, bureau chief, deputy managing editor, and most recently, senior newsdesk editor—where she helped shape and oversee top news coverage for a global audience.
In addition to her newsroom leadership, Stacie has shared her expertise in the classroom as an adjunct professor of Business Journalism at The College of New Jersey. Her early career included reporting for the Asbury Park Press and Home News Tribune, where she covered state and local government as well as business topics.
Stacie holds a Master of Science in Business Journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The College of New Jersey.
Her work has earned numerous accolades, including awards from the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists, Eden Autism’s 5K Hero Award, and recognition as one of Insider NJ’s Top Media Personalities and ROI-NJ’s Women in Business Influencers. In 2024, she was honored with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce’s Woman of Inspiration Award.
Beyond journalism, Stacie is a published author and blogger. Her book, My Broken Road: the tangled and twisted musings of an autism mama, was released in May 2024, and she regularly shares personal reflections on her blog, Brielle’s Voice. She’s also a frequent guest on television and panel discussions, lending her voice to conversations on media, business, and advocacy.
Stacie has served on the board of Eden Autism and currently sits on the board of the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists. Her professional presence extends across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Bluesky, where she continues to engage with audiences and peers.
