I base my pricing on the Editorial Freelancers Association’s recommended rates but work with clients to find a plan that fits their budget. I also offer a permanent 10% discount to authors and businesses located in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and Montana). For those interested, I am always happy to conduct a sample edit.

These are the final stages of the editorial process, focusing on polishing your work before publication.

Proofreading catches surface-level issues like typos, grammar, and punctuation errors.
Copyediting goes a step further, often using an in-house style guide as the basis for edits.

📚 Developmental Editing (for Authors)

Developmental editing tackles your story at the structural level—character arcs, plot, pacing, voice, and overall cohesion.

This service is ideal for authors who’ve completed a draft and want detailed feedback before moving on to line or copyediting. You’ll receive:
