Hello, I'm Michele, and, first and foremost, I'm a storyteller. I love finding the extraordinary in any story by using colorful descriptions and compelling quotes that make my articles, essays, blog posts, and video scripts stand out. I create engaging, actionable copy that reels people in and keeps them reading until the last sentence. (Otherwise, what’s the point, right?) As a former Entertainment Editor/Director, Executive Editor, and Content Director, I have red-lined more than my share of "meh" articles. I pride myself on banishing clichés and finding unusual ways to turn bread-and-butter topics into marvelous reads.

These days, I'm also obsessed with finding ways to live a little healthier and more vibrantly each day, and sharing those gems with others who hope to do the same. My super-sweet spot is the intersection between wellness, travel, and longevity. Add a celebrity to the mix, and that assignment will reach holy grail status!

My Experience—Got a Minute… or Two?

After honing my skills as a writer and editor at consumer publications ranging from Time Out New York and Glamour to Seventeen, Self, and Weight Watchers Magazine, I transitioned to spearheading client-facing Health, Finance, and Lifestyle campaigns for clients at People Inc.’s (formerly Dotdash Meredith and Time Inc’.s) in-house creative studio. Throughout nearly eight years creating best-in-class microsites, videos, and paid social posts (IG Stories and Reels, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) for the likes of Capital One Venture X, Chase Sapphire, Eli Lilly, and Astrazenica, among many others, my mission remained the same: to seamlessly incorporate client messaging into the content while preserving the editorial integrity of the legacy editorial brands in which it was rooted (Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, PEOPLE, VeryWell Health, etc.).

An Eye for the Extraordinary in the Everyday

When I'm not at my laptop, I love taking to the streets for photo walks (or bike rides), where I aim to capture images of individuals going about their daily lives—from nannies to construction workers and shop clerks. I’m fascinated by photographs that evoke strong emotions, and I’m constantly working to improve my technical skills while preserving the rawness of connecting with subjects to capture a specific moment.
