Two of my Peace Corps cohorts went on to start a non-profit after their service. I volunteered to write up their origin story that they could then use to get the word out to donors and start their first round of fundraising.

CARE asked me to write up their work and the interviews I conducted with recipients of their rescue efforts in human interest stories. This is my copy of the story they published back in 2003, (the website no longer features the piece).

This was one of a pack of articles I created for CARE reporting not just their work but explaining the situation that small villages in Madagascar faced after a cyclone. It's a mix of data and interviews conducted by me.

This is a quick glance at my after-school art program, Mothers of Madagascar - a visual arts course inspired by the women of Madagascar. It's a quick look at my documentation and a summary of the project's success.

I worked with FOKO to help them reach young Malagasy students in Majunga. It was a short-term project but one that gave me an incredible opportunity to teach my love of writing to students - two of whom won prizes.
