Health content expertise

"I cannot imagine a better health content leader than Lauren Gelman. She learns clinical concepts easily and then rapidly translates them into high quality content, whether in the form of articles, video scripts, educational materials, newsletters, white papers or reports. At Hinge Health, she led the development of a vast body of content covering back pain to fall prevention to pelvic health to brain health. She’s full of ideas for new content and always looking for ways to better use what exists. She is a great people manager who truly cares for her direct reports while ensuring they efficiently and consistently produce high quality work. She’s proactive, responsible and a joy to work with. I highly recommend Lauren for any health content leadership role." — Jeffrey Krauss, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Hinge Health

Growth marketing

"Lauren is absolutely incredible at what she does. Helping the Growth team figure out SEO at Hinge Health — with her constant support and knowledge — made things so smooth, resulting in a successful program that wouldn't be the same without her. She's an exceptional thought partner, especially when it comes to navigating AI, consistently bringing fresh insights that shape our strategies. She’s been a vital part of our SEO program, willing to dive into the research and help us navigate complex topics. What stands out most is how she balances being extremely detail-oriented while never losing sight of the big picture: our business goals and, most importantly, our members."
— Sarah Ziani, Growth Marketing Manager, SEO and AEO, Hinge Health

Digital content

"It’s hard to imagine giving Lauren a goal she can’t meet and inspire and lead a content team to meet. She has multi-channel editing skills, health chops, drive, and really leads. She ramped up the Reader’s Digest website from almost no original content to a stream of high-performing pieces, and her fast-twitch energy, precise organization, and feel for audiences lifted the site’s quality, traffic, and KPIs rapidly. She worked enthusiastically across departments and asked leadership probing questions that helped the company pivot in smart ways. I’d work with her in a minute again."
— Bruce Kelley, former Chief Content Officer at Reader's Digest and Consumer Affairs

Leadership & team-building

"Lauren made an immediate impact on the company, advocating for a change in our business model and overhaul of our content strategy and video library. She enhanced the team by recruiting top healthcare video producers and setting goals and objectives, resulting in a 10x increase in our library and huge premiums in our advertising rates from leading pharmaceutical advertisers like Eli Lilly, Merck, and Novartis. Lauren was equally valuable with our investors and business partners, presenting our new vision and gaining their support. She traveled with our sales and business development organization to sales calls and helped close deals."
— Michael O'Donnell, Founder and Chairman, NTRO Partners LLC, former CEO of HealthiNation and other venture-backed technology startups
