I am a Chicana journalist and newsroom leader focused on community-centered reporting. I currently work as the News Editor of The Daily Sundial at Cal State University, Northridge, where I oversee campus coverage ranging from policy changes to breaking news. As a Southern California local who worked for Santa Barbara City College’s The Channels as the Arts and Entertainment Editor, my passion stems from a desire to educate my community and provide accurate, impactful multimedia reporting. When not found in the newsroom, you can find me hiking with my sister, at the gym, or cuddling with my dog.
