I began my professional sports writing career as a 14-year-old in 1978 and have concentrated primarily on Major League Baseball since 1988. I have covered every major event in baseball, including the World Series, League Championship Series, All-Star Games, World Baseball Classics, spring training, Winter Meetings and GM Meetings. I have also covered the NFL, including two Super Bowls, as well as college football and basketball while winning numerous awards on the national, state and local levels.
