About

Jasmine Browley is a journalist, ghostwriter, and communications strategist with a decade of experience elevating stories at the intersection of Black ambition, politics, and culture. Her work has appeared in Forbes, ESSENCE, BET, Allure, and The New York Times, where her viral Modern Love essay laid the foundation for her upcoming book about radical self-love. This follows her debut, Faith and Fertility, a memoir she ghostwrote with Aikisha and Willie Colon formerly of OWN TV’s hit reality series, The Belle Collective.

After witnessing firsthand how transformative storytelling can shape narratives—and inspired by her mother’s resilience navigating corporate spaces as a Black woman—Jasmine launched HLS Communications, a boutique agency offering ghostwriting and strategic media services. The name “HLS” is a tribute to her mother and grandmother, whose initials represent the foundation of Jasmine’s values: hard work, legacy, and storytelling.

Through HLS, Jasmine has helped executives, entrepreneurs, and public figures secure national visibility in outlets like Forbes, Allure, Black Enterprise, and Dear Media. A proud Chicago native, Jasmine is passionate about using media as a tool for impact, equity, and liberation.
