Square Enix is currently holding its usual stream for MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, and producer Naoki Yoshida aka YoshiP highly praised One Piece and Eiichiro Oda for its latest developments and chapter 1044.
Naoki Yoshida, like most of us, is an otaku and is obviously reading One Piece. He shared his impressions on the latest chapter, 1044, this April 1, 2022, during the latest stream for Final Fantasy XIV. YoshiP didn’t mince his words and stated that everyone should be reading One Piece.

The Final Fantasy XIV streams Letter From The Producer usually starts ahead of schedule to test out the video and mics to make sure there are no delays and the audio volume is just right. During these pre stream segments, Naoki Yoshida regularly shares his impressions on some of the latest things he did recently or some funny anecdotes that happened to him lately. This time, he brought up One Piece.
“I Haven’t been this excited about Shonen Jump since Slam Dunk”
Noaki Yoshida explained that he’s been incredibly hyped for One Piece lately. He explained how everyone trusts Oda sensei to the point you know he’ll never disappoint you because he already proved himself many times in the past, and again this time he didn’t disappoint. YoshiP explained he hasn’t been this excited about buying and reading Shonen Jump Magazine ever since when he was in grade school and Takehiko Inoue’s legendary shonen and seinen pioneering manga Slam Dunk ended. YoshiP ended the discussion by stating that he wishes all of humanity would read One Piece.
One Piece currently has several projects planned. First. Netflix is working on a live-action series to be released soon. Next, a new anime movie, One Piece Film Red, is also releasing in a few days in Japanese theaters. Bandai Namco is also working on a new console JRPG, One Piece Odyssey.
