Project leadership skills

This description is from my 2023 performance review:

"Peers commented that Claire is an excellent project leader-she is intellectually and methodologically smart, knows all aspects of running a study including completing study designs, randomizing, data collection, analysis, and report writing. One peer stated she 'does very well, makes few mistakes, runs analysis, thinks it through, she’s very methodical.'" - My supervisor

Impact evaluation presentation skills

I co-led and co-presented on a randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of access to digital media resources on computational thinking skills in 458 4- and 5-year-old children.

"It was a great presentation – I really enjoyed it! As someone who has done a lot of different types of research projects (and teaches research methods courses I was very impressed with how clean and well thought out all of the data collection and analysis decisions were. It showed that you really thought carefully about everything you did and tried to ensure it was fair and unbiased evaluation." -Media developer client
"I just wanted to send you a SHOUT OUT and congratulations for your excellent presentation to our clients and partners... You not only helped to finalize very complicated analysis, but you put the perfect “polish” on the presentation in your tone, extensive knowledge and understanding of the data, and sensitive responses to questions about the implications. I am so appreciative of your professionalism, dedication to rigor and quality, and representing SRI’s team and work so well. THANK YOU and congratulations for wrapping up that study!" -My director at SRI

Communication Skills

My supervisor praised my communication skills in my 2023 performance review:

Peers were also impressed with Claire’s communication skills. She often takes the lead when working with families, she connects with families well, she is friendly and engaging with the child. She is able to explain complicated information on the IRB well to the family/guardian, “she has a lovely way of communicating complicated information on their level.” -My supervisor
