I'm Gail Bailey, an HR and Learning & Development writer and founder of Be Good Do Good Communications, with 15+ years in corporate and sustainability communications before specializing in L&D. I turn client briefs and research into content that meets both practitioner and organizational needs.

Over two years I wrote L&D thought leadership content for British Council Corporate English Solutions — articles and two flagship eBooks built from their global surveys of HR and L&D professionals. The 2024 Learning and Development roadmap runs to 30 pages: year-on-year trend data, a readiness checklist teams can audit themselves against, and four skills frameworks. I've also written for AIHR, one of the largest HR education platforms, on competency management, employee incentives, recruitment marketing, and reducing proximity bias in hybrid teams.

My work spans learning and development, employee experience, workplace wellbeing, talent retention and practical HR guidance. I write articles, reports, eBooks and thought-leadership content, in both US English and UK English (depending on editorial guidelines).

Most of my British Council work was published under the Corporate English Solutions byline, which was standard practice for this assignment. Happy to talk through what I wrote on request, or provide references.

I took a career break in 2024–25 for family caregiving. My current work combines content with learning design and generative AI — designing workplace learning content and AI-supported practice experiences. I'm now taking on new client work, and available for freelance projects remotely across the EU.
