Tell Me More About Adel

As a kid growing up in South Africa, I split my days weaving epic stories in my head, racing motorbikes across dusty trails, and tinkering with tech – captivated by its power to turn imagination into real impact. That same curiosity carried me to Australia 30 years later, where over the past 13 years I’ve built a career doing one thing really well: making businesses and ideas shine!

I’m not just a marketer. I’m the person who untangles tech stacks, streamlines operations, fixes the “broken” website at 2 a.m., and still finds time to craft campaigns that move the needle. From Adobe, Huawei, Marriott Group, and SAP to blockchain pioneers like Akoin (with Akon), LGND (with Tiësto and Mad Dog Jones), and Warner Music Group, I’ve worn every hat — strategist, operator, PR lead, community builder, and problem-solver.

People love throwing around “jack-of-all-trades, master of none”… cute! I just smile, fix their entire business, and leave before they finish the sentence.

In 2017 I dove head-first into Web3 and never looked back. I was breeding CryptoKitties and hanging out in Discord servers before “NFT” was even a household word. Those late-night experiments with a global crew of early adopters felt exactly like the wild west days of the .com boom — pure playground energy, ridiculous valuations, and everyone screaming “bubble!” while quietly building the future.

People still call the dot-com era a failure. I just point at the device they’re reading this on and ask: “So… how’s that failure working out for you?”

Web3 gave me the same rush — and it escalated fast. From breeding digital cats to running $38 million blockchains in what felt like a heartbeat.

I led DAPS from a tiny privacy coin to a $38M market cap, grew LGND’s social reach by 2000% at ComplexCon, sold a $250,069 Mad Dog Jones NFT in a single drop, and helped launch Akoin’s vision for African entrepreneurs. I’ve spoken on global stages (Social Media Marketing World, G20 Summits, SAP events), interviewed and wrote articles for Forbes and The Next Web (TNW), and built a personal brand that now reaches over 100,000 followers.

I’m a self-confessed tech geek who can debug a CRM or a printer jam just as happily as I can pitch a multi-million-dollar partnership – and I do it all while leaving the spreadsheets to someone else. My dream? Building things that matter — deeply committed to the people and projects I say yes to, laptop in hand, and lucky enough to call Australia home while the world stays on speed-dial.

Until my full case studies are live, feel free to scroll through the articles and press I’ve collected over the years — or drop me a message and I’ll tell you the real stories behind the headlines! I’m just a Zoom link and a coffee away from helping you build something epic.
