An extraordinary convergence of function, artistry, and cultural meaning. This collection of antique spoons from the African continent connect us to the hands that shaped them and invites a reevaluation of the boundary between art and utility.

While the modernist landmarks of Los Angeles and San Francisco have long dominated the narrative, "The Distinct Modernism of San Diego" focuses on the important and vibrant—yet often overlooked—chapter of California’s architectural history.

Celebrating the longstanding architecture practice, "Mosher Drew: The First 75 Years" is a history of San Diego's longest-running firm, its principals, and its iconic projects that have shaped the region.

Widely acclaimed for his architecture, Craig Ellwood has become nearly synonymous with Southern California modernism — and certainly Arts & Architecture’s Case Study House program — having designed Case Study Houses 16, 17, and 18 (AKA CSH 1953).

Through previously unpublished drawings and photographs, coupled with correspondence between Craig Ellwood and Ernie Jacks, "Craig Ellwood: Remembering The Thin Man" seeks to illuminate a decades-long relationship between the two architects.

"The Sensuous Environment: Sim Bruce Richards, Architect" chronicles the career, designs, and collaborative projects of Richards who's aesthetic is unique to the San Diego region. Book released in conjunction with San Diego History Museum exhibit.
