Why do all content items in my Authory require a date?

By default, all content items on your Portfolio, in your Collections and in your Content Archive are displayed reverse chronologically based on their publication date (not the date when you've added them to your Authory account, but when the content items were originally published).

Of course you can change the order of content items manually anytime (here is how). As a default setting though, the ordering by date has proven to work best.
