Note: The following instructions apply both to changing the order of content items in standalone collections and in collections that are visible on your portfolio. Learn more about the difference between standalone vs. portfolio collections.
By default, all content items within a collection are ordered by date with the newest ones at the top (reverse chronological).
You have two options to change the order:
1. Click on any content item
You can click on any content item and select "Change order" in the menu that opens:
You'll be forwarded to the "drag and drop" mode, meaning you can drag and content item to the position you like:
Once you are done, click "Save order".
2. Go to the collection details page
You can change the order by going to the collection details (go to authory.com/app/collections and click on the respective collection to see the details view).
There you'll find an "Order" option in the top bar menu. Click on this to see the order options.
After clicking, you can manually arrange the order of items within a collection.
