Authory can import all your articles automatically based on your byline and the publication you've published at. Or you can import articles yourself by adding them manually based on their URL.
However, for some very rare cases, our system can't import articles either automatically or manually. If that's the case, you can still add an article to your Authory account by copy&pasting it. Here is how it works:
Log in to your Authory account and then go to the editor :
You'll find it by clicking the "Add content" button on any collection.
Select "Import or upload new content"
Then select "Article" as the content type.
You'll find the option "I want to use Authory as a blog and publish an article" on the next screen. Select this option and the editor will open.
Copy & paste the article content from the original article into the editor. If you like, you can also add pictures.
Select an existing source from the dropdown with your existing publications. If it's a new source, click the link "Content item is from new source"
Click the button labelled "Publish article". That's it :)
