We are ending the month of February with an extensive list of exciting games happening. Whether it’s rugby, baseball, or basketball, you need to grab tickets to see one of these games before the month is out. Don’t worry, you do have an extra day for this Leap Year.
From the New York Knicks vs the Houston Rockets to the Missouri State Bears vs the Rice Owls, here are the top sporting events happening in Houston this week.
New York Knicks at Houston Rockets @ Toyota Center
Monday, February 24 | 7PM
This Monday night, grab tickets to see the New York Knicks play against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. The Knicks have had a rocky start to their 2020 season, having over 14 losses in total. They have started to gain momentum as we approach the end of the regular season and move into the playoffs. Is this enough to win the Houston Rockets this Monday? Buy tickets on SeatGeek and find out!
Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic @ Minute Maid Park
Friday, February 28 | 11AM
The 2020 Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic is going to be a matchup of SEC vs Big 12 teams. This Friday you will see Missouri vs Baylor at 11AM, Arkansas vs Oklahoma at 3PM, and Texas vs LSU at 7PM. You can get some amazing seats near the home plate on SeatGeek for as low as $46!
Rugby United NY at Houston SaberCats @ Aveva Stadium
Sunday, March 1 | 5PM
The Rugby United NY, also known as RUNY, will be playing against the Houston SaberCats this Sunday evening at the Aveva Stadium. Currently on the league table, the RUNY’s have a total score of 54, whereas the Houston SaberCats have a score 0f 30, the third lowest for the season. Grab tickets and find out if they can push themselves from the bottom! Tickets are on sale for $60 on SeatGeek.
Memphis Grizzlies at Houston Rockets @ Toyota Center
Wednesday, February 26 | 7PM
In January, the Memphis Grizzlies played against the Houston Rockets and won with a score of 121-110. The Rockets had the lead for the first quarter, but the Grizzlies started to pick up around the end of the second quarter before finishing the game. Before that, the Rockets won their last game in November of last year with a score of just over 7 points from the Memphis Grizzlies. These teams are comparable this season and this game will be quite a nail-biter for these two skilled teams.
Missouri State Bears at Rice Owls Baseball @ Reckling Park
Friday, February 28 | 6:30PM
This Friday night, grab tickets on SeatGeek to watch the Missouri State Bears play against the Rice Owls from Rice University at Reckling Park. Last week, just a few days after their big opening day at UCA, Logan Wiley from the Missouri State Bears picks up the Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Pitcher of the week recognition. He is en route to earning the Missouri State University’s Dave Dickensheet Pitcher of the year honor. It’s clear this will be a hard team to beat with a pitcher like Wiley.
