Emergency Center for Pets to Open in Mamaroneck

Pet owners in the area facing a true or after-hours emergency have had limited options nearby, but that is changing.

Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (VSEC) the only 24-hour animal hospital in Mamaroneck, will open its doors in the coming weeks at 566 E. Boston Post Rd.Whether a pet swallows something they shouldn’t, or needs a complex surgical procedure, expert care is now available in our community.

VSEC offers a 24/7 emergency room, ICU, advanced diagnostics, and specialty services. Founded by Dr. Samuel Dicker, a board-certified specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care, VSEC is dedicated to creating an accessible and compassionate experience for local families and their pets.

The animal hospital was thoughtfully designed by an architect who is also a veterinary technician, so the space blends clinical functionality with an understanding of patient and client comfort.  Pet owners, keep their number handy!
