Hall worked as a zookeeper at the Naples Zoo for over a dozen years before joining the Survivor cast and travelling to Guatemala, where she was one of the final five contestants. She now works on a horse farm in town. Hall is an animal lover, and kindly donated her time to the event.
A steady stream of Neapolitans turned out to support the organization, peruse the animals up for adoption and to get an autograph from Hall. All monies raised went to the HSCC's programs to provide shelter and adoption to orphaned pets. The HSCC was incorporated in 1960, as a non-profit organization and promotes responsible pet ownership through education, legislation and sterilization.
The Humane Society of Collier County is located at 370 Airport-Pulling Road North. Adoption Center hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information call 643-1555 or visit www.collierhumanesoc.org.
