There may be no better time to book an easy, breezy trip through America’s top national parks.

To commemorate National Park Week, which runs through Aug. 30, Amtrak Vacations is offering discounts of up to $500 per couple on bucket-list journeys through scenic gems like Glacier National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Yosemite National Park, the Railbookers Group, the parent company of Amtrak Vacations, told Travel + Leisure. The promotion itself also runs through Aug. 30.

“National parks are our top-selling vacations, and we continue to see strong demand from travelers who want to experience these destinations without having to plan every piece of the trip themselves,” Frank Marini, the president and CEO of Amtrak Vacations, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Rail is a natural fit because the scenery and experience begin well before travelers arrive at the park, and we can connect the rail, hotels and activities into one customizable vacation.”

Spend 15 days exploring three of the top national parks in the United States—Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Glacier National parks—on an adventure across the Great Plains, Rocky Mountains, and American West; or take on Route 66 by rail on a 14-day adventure from Chicago to Los Angeles. This itinerary includes stops in St. Louis, Albuquerque, and Williams, Arizona, offering guests plenty of opportunity to indulge in mid-century nostalgia and Mother Road kitsch. It also includes a two-night stay at the Grand Canyon and a ride on the Grand Canyon Railway.

Travelers can also sign up for an unforgettable nine-day journey across the Southwest to visit Bryce and Zion National parks in Utah as well as the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Or opt for a 10-day trip from Chicago to Seattle that winds through Glacier National Park and includes a three-night stay at the historic Glacier Park Lodge as well as unforgettable Montana views.

Travelers can take their pick of departure dates and begin their journey at any of Amtrak’s more than 500 train stations across 46 U.S. states. Each trip is also customizable, allowing passengers to add extra nights or destinations, upgrade their onboard accommodations, or add additional activities.

During the promotion, discounts start at $150 per couple on three to six night journeys, climb to $300 per couple on seven to nine night vacation, rise to $400 per couple on 10 to 14 night trips, and are as much as $500 per couple on journeys longer than 15 nights.
