Renowned for its innovative Qsuites and luxurious lounge, Qatar Airways was named for having the best business class product in the industry for the 13th time.

The title, handed out as part of Skytrax’s annual World’s Best Airline Awards, also named the Doha-based airline the world’s best business class seat and the world’s best business class lounge.

“Sixty thousand colleagues deliver the best experience in the world for our passengers every day, and they have done so through a particularly challenging year,” Hamad Al Khater, the CEO of the Qatar Airways Group, said in a statement, adding, “I thank our passengers for their loyalty, and I dedicate these four awards to every one of our people, as we take this airline further in the chapter ahead.”

The airline’s Qsuites bring onboard privacy and personalized service to the forefront. Each suite is equipped with sliding privacy doors, a lie-flat seat, and a 21.5-inch touchscreen entertainment system. Qsuites can be configured to accommodate up to four passengers, and meals are served at whatever time passengers prefer.

Travelers won’t find Qsuites on every route, but even the airline’s other business class product provides a top-notch in-flight experience. Spacious seats come with plush bedding, Diptyque amenity kits, designer pajamas, and comfy slippers. Fast, free Wi-Fi is available to all passengers, which is so good it also earned Qatar the inaugural 2026 Skytrax Award for the world’s best onboard Wi-Fi. The airline’s high-speed Starlink service is available gate-to-gate.

Skytrax also praised the airline’s Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha. The space features à la carte dining, 24 quiet rooms, seven spa treatment rooms, a fitness studio, and more.

Qatar Airways has long been a favorite for travelers voting in the annual Skytrax contest, which began in 1999. Skytrax, a London-based research firm dedicated to improving the aviation experience, surveys travelers around the globe to determine the winners, and any airline anywhere in the world can be nominated.

For 2026, Qatar Airways also won the best airline in the Middle East for the 14th time and retained its five-star Skytrax Airline rating.

“One of the first-ever airlines to be awarded 5-Star status, Qatar Airways maintains its global leadership for delivering the highest standards of product and service to customers,” Skytrax wrote. “Cabin seating and amenities, food & beverages and [in-flight entertainment] are setting or meeting global Best Practice, supported by 5-Star cabin staff service.”

Singapore Airlines won this year’s world’s top airline title for a record sixth time. Qatar Airways came in second on that list, while Cathay Pacific ranked third.
