New Italian restaurant Chic Nonna to open in DIFC

Restaurant opening alert – epicures of Italian cuisine may we have your attention please.

Italian restaurant Chic Nonna, will be opening its doors in the hot dining hub that is DIFC at the end of this year.

And we've heard that the new restaurant will have a restaurant, lounge and bar as well as one of the region’s largest grape cellars.

There will also be a chef’s table (so you can check out the chefs in action) as well as a state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen so you can see your dinner being whipped up in front of you.

Commanding the kitchen will be chef Vito Mollica, who previously served at the Michelin starred Il Palagio in Four Seasons Florence, so get ready for traditional Italian dishes with an international twist.

We're promised top views of the Dubai skyline and Burj Khalifa, too.

The news of Chic Nonna coming to DIFC is the latest addition to the area's all-star roster that has seen a number of new restaurants open their doors recently.

Moroccan eatery Fenna launched at the start of May serving street-food dishes from the North-African country with La Casa del Tango by Enrique Macana shaking its way into the Dubai culinary scene at the end of the same month.

And there are more openings to come with French joint, Josette, set to bring an array of French artisanal dishes and drinks before the end of 2021.

Have we got our reminders set?

Coming soon. DIFC, mineandyoursgroup.com.
