During our testing, the Roborock vacuum’s strong suction power (6,000 Pa) didn’t miss a speck of hair, dust, or dirt on hardwood and tile floors. We were particularly impressed with how well it handled larger debris, like cereal. It was even able to pick up dog fur and longer hair without it getting tangled in the dual rubber brushes.

Roborock S8+ Robot Vacuum and Mop

The robot vacuum has an impressive 180-minute runtime on a single charge. We loved how it automatically returned to its dock when it finished cleaning, so we didn’t have to remember to charge it. Not only does it charge itself, but it also has a self-empty feature. The 2.5-liter dust bag can hold up to seven weeks of debris, according to the brand.

The Best Vacuums for Hardwood Floors We’ve Ever Tested

Thanks to the Roborock app, your cleaning can be completely hands-free. You can adjust the suction power, identify areas where you don’t want the vacuum to go, customize cleaning routes, and more via the app. Plus, you can set up a cleaning schedule, so you’ll never forget to vacuum or mop (which will definitely come in handy during those extra busy weeks or when you’re prepping for guests). We had no difficulty setting up and changing the schedule while testing.

The robot vacuum uses 3D technology to learn the layout of your home, and we appreciated how quickly it mapped our space. It senses and avoids obstacles in its path, even in low-light and dark rooms, to ensure it cleans every inch.

You’ll never have to stress over cleaning your floors and carpets again with the Roborock S8+ robot vacuum and mop. Grab it while it’s over $200 off for Prime members, and check out more popular robot vacuums below.
