Keith Antcliff, 87, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Antcliff, children Carol, Wayne, Alice, Gail, and Emily, and grandchildren, both biological and adopted: Jessilyn, Matthew, Madeleine, Wyatt, Margaret-Ann, Tyler, Lilly, Grace, Natalya, Hannah, Sarah, Christopher, Aaron, Kaylyn, and Tawney. He also had two great-grandsons.

A self-made man in the cable TV and computer industries, he moved his family from Marquette, Michigan, to Spokane, Washington, in the early 1980’s. Keith enjoyed several hobbies, including aviation. In our younger days, he would fly us grandchildren to Silverwood for days of adventure and to watch him in air shows with his fellow pilot friends. Outside the airshows, I remember being his co-pilot in the biplane he called the Pitts, often flying upside down, and asking him if he got dizzy. He always said he was used to it, and it never bothered him. My grandpa would throw amazing get-togethers at the airport, and there was never a dull moment when he was around.

Keith spent his life providing for his family and always ensured we had everything we needed. He helped several of his grandchildren through school, even paying for dorm rooms and books. Looking back, I realize how lucky we were to have him in our lives. He was determined to make us successful, and it shows in the great people we have become.

Well, Grandpa, your work is done, but ours is just beginning. When I hear an airplane, I’ll always know you’re somewhere having a great time.

We will always love you, and you will be greatly missed.
