“The crew used ladders and small tools to cut John out,” the Clevedon Firefighters posted on Facebook. “The easiest and least distressing option was to cut a section of the pipe out with John in situ. John was then transported to a local [vet] who sedated her in order for the rescue to continue where no serious injury was found.”
Lady Freethinker commends the Clevedon Firefighters and Vets4Pets Clevedon for taking such gentle and compassionate care of John and making her rescue as trauma-free as possible.
