An effective blog header can make the difference between getting an influx of site visitors and having a severe lack of site traffic for your business. Add links into the header parts of your Blogger business blog to make an effective header that encourages viewers to visit your site or product pages. Since the Blogger site supports HTML coding, inserting the links in the header areas is a simple process that you can complete in just a few minutes.

Log in to your Blogger account. Find the title of the blog in which you want to add header links.
Click the downward-facing arrow to the right of your chosen blog to bring up a drop-down menu.
Click "Layout," the seventh option on the drop-down menu. A new screen appears, with your blog divided into sections, including headers.
Click the "Edit" link next to the header you want to incorporate a link into.
Enter the following HTML code into the header area:

<a href="http://www.yourlink.com">your text</a>

Replace "www.yourlink.com" with the URL of your business website or of the site you want readers to go to. Replace "yourtext" with the words you want the header to display.
Click "Save" to save your new header.
