It'll be warm down in Tampa for the Super Bowl on Sunday, but that'll be about as close to good weather as most New Jerseyans can expect, according to latest forecasts.

The state is just a week removed from a potentially record-breaking snowfall that saw as much as 35 inches in North Jersey. There was a wide range of snow totals, Monmouth County, for example, having some areas with over a foot and others as little as 5 inches.

On the bright side, the latest forecast does not predict totals nearly as high. The highest high-end prediction, which the National Weather Service classifies as having a 10% chance of there being a higher total, is 9 inches in Morristown. The inverse, or the amount of snow the NWS gives a 90% chance of being eclipsed, is 2 inches across much of the state.

Winter storm warning in the north:Snow storm could drop 5 to 7 inches on North Jersey

The current path of the storm has most of the storm passing mostly central New Jersey, missing the furthest corners in the northwest and southeast portions of the state.
