SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is on the way with more battle information and a multiplayer mode.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will take players under the sea when it releases on June 23 for PC and consoles. Ahead of its launch, THQ dropped a new trailer for the game as well, showing off its multiplayer mode.
In the multiplayer mode, players can face the evil Robo-Squidward in a horde mode. It supports up to two players through online and couch co-op on the same screen and features 26 islands and seven playable characters, all with unique attacks.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a re-release the 2003 cult classic game from developer Heavy Iron Studios. The original SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom originally released for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube.
