Bella Brodie takes a look at a hat-trick of standout options from Regal – the Harlington, the Hemsworth and the Retreat

As the 2026 season approaches, buyers have more choice than ever when it comes to stylish, practical and affordable holiday homes and lodges. Whether you’re searching for something cosy and compact or a more substantial residential-standard retreat, this year’s models showcase clever design touches, great value, and a balance between contemporary flair and homely comfort.

We’ve taken a closer look at three standout options from the Regal range – the Harlington single unit, the Hemsworth, and the Retreat – to see what each brings to the table!

REGAL HARLINGTON
The Harlington is one of Regal’s most characterful and flexible models. At the recent showcase events, this model created a real buzz with park buyers, and more orders were taken for the Harlington than any other Regal model. Park buyers do tend to know what they are looking at, so that alone tells you exactly how good a model it is.

The Harlington greets you with a rewarding light green, balancing soft neutral walls with accent tones and woodgrains. The vaulted ceiling in the open-plan living area creates a surprising sense of volume for a single unit, and large front aspect windows make the lounge a light-filled focal point.

Layout and Living Space
The lounge is designed for sociable living, with free-standing sofas and an integrated media wall. There’s a contemporary feature, a full-height radiator and the dining space is neatly positioned to make the most of the open-plan feel without encroaching on relaxation zones. The kitchen comes well-equipped, with an integrated fridge-freezer, microwave and oven/hob, and there’s plenty of practical storage space and a generous amount of work surface too.

The bedrooms are generous for a single, with clever use of storage and thoughtful design touches such as upholstered headboards and coordinated soft furnishings. In the master, a large mirrored wardrobe elevates the sense of luxury, alongside an en-suite shower room in most layouts.

Key Details

Specification: The Harlington single is built to EN 3647, making it a luxurious holiday home with plenty of character. Affordable and practical, it is built to a luxurious level for a seasonal model, and that’s probably one of the reasons it’s selling so well!
Audience: Aimed at buyers wanting lodge-style living in a single unit footprint, it’s perfect for ownership, and impossible not to love. It also has some key features that make it memorable, so it’ll perform well on sales showgrounds when compared to similarly priced models.

Our verdict: The Harlington proves you don’t need to compromise on comfort or contemporary design if you’re working with a single unit. It’s a smart, flexible choice with broad appeal.

THE HEMSWORTH
The Hemsworth has become something of a staple on British holiday parks, and it is another of Regal’s best -selling models thanks to its warm and welcoming interiors. It’s a model that manages to feel aspirational without overstepping into ‘out of reach’ territory – a balance that explains its popularity with families and couples alike. With the recent updates made to the 2026 model, it’s now more appealing than ever!

Step into the Hemsworth and you’re met with subtly coloured cabinetry, light walls and wood-effect finishes. The interior strikes that sweet spot between homely and modern, with plenty of features to make it just as memorable as the Harlington.

Layout and Living Space
The lounge is arranged around front-facing French doors, inviting in plenty of light and giving easy access to decking. A comfortable sofa and accent chair provide ample seating, and the entertainment unit offers space for a large TV.

The kitchen and dining area offers a pretty unique layout, yet it’s been well-thought through and it makes the space feel larger than the footprint, with a home-from-home feel. The contemporary room divider means that there’s more surface and unit space than most, and movement between rooms is easy. It’s worthy of note that this model has a minimum ceiling height of 7ft, so if someone in your party is on the taller side, they will love it. For everyone else, that lofty feeling simply makes it feel lighter and more spacious.

We love the bedroom in this model as it has the en-suite and walk-in wardrobe behind the master bedhead wall, and that often makes the bedroom seem simpler, calmer and less cluttered.

Key Details

Specification: The Hemsworth is built to EN 1647 specification, so it is suitable for seasonal use, and there are several layouts to choose from, including a three bedroomed version.
Audience: Perfect for families or couples who want an affordable, stylish and reliable holiday home for use on park-based breaks, the Hemsworth would also perform well as a fleet model. With it’s modern look and feel anyone walking into it would be very pleased with their lot!

Our verdict: A crowd-pleaser that ticks boxes without overcomplicating things. The Hemsworth is ideal for those who want a solid holiday base with enough luxuries to make it feel special.

THE RETREAT
As its name suggests, the Retreat is all about creating a haven away from the bustle of daily life. This model has been carefully styled to evoke a calm, restorative feel – and in 2026, it continues that tradition with light, Scandi-inspired interiors, and this brand-new version feels even more luxurious than the last!

The Retreat makes an immediate impact with its airy, understated design. Pale cabinetry, soft upholstery and natural wood details combine to create a soothing environment. Think ‘modern country cottage’ with a hint of boutique chic.

Layout and Living Space
The lounge is relaxed and informal, with generous seating and a front fascia of full-height windows, framing views outside. The open-plan kitchen includes integrated appliances, plentiful storage thanks to the domestic-sized cabinets and a layout that feels practical without being cluttered. The bedrooms follow suit, with coordinated fabrics, a focus on comfort, and great use of light and shade. The master offers a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while twin rooms are sized to be flexible for guests or children.

Key details

Specification: The Retreat is one of Regal’s most affordable models, but it outperforms its price point admirably in look, feel and level of luxury.
Audience: First time holiday home owners would be well served with this stunning little number, or even those who want to hang on to it indefinitely, as it offers so much. Yet the primary appeal will be for buyers looking for an upmarket fleet model, suitable for a wide variety of tastes and family types.

Our verdict: The Retreat lives up to its name, delivering a sanctuary that works just as well for full-time living as it does for luxury getaways.

The Regal Harlington, Hemsworth and Retreat each bring something different to the 2026 line-up. The Harlington shows how much of a lodge feel can be delivered within a single unit spec, so much so that Regal also now offer it as a twin unit version built to BS 3632 specification, such is the allure! The Hemsworth continues to shine as a holiday home under EN 1647, balancing comfort and affordability with ease, and the 2026 version has ramped up the level of visual appeal considerably with a few tweaks. Meanwhile, the Retreat proves itself as a real contender in the short stay, arena, but at a level that may well appeal to buyers, too! Whatever your priorities, one of these models is likely to hit the mark.
