Bella Brodie steps inside Fairway’s glorious residential park home, The Ashby, and likes what she finds…

If you’re seeking a residential park home that blends contemporary comfort with timeless elegance, the Fairway Ashby might just be your dream come true. With its thoughtful design touches, the Ashby is a model that speaks volumes about Fairway Park & Leisure Homes’ commitment to quality, style, and design for modern living. From the moment you approach the Ashby, its kerb appeal is undeniable. The anthracite grey windows and doors, paired with maintenance-free cladding and a striking apex over the front door, lend a modern yet welcoming character. Generous glazing floods the interior with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that’s both uplifting and calming. There are several variations of size and layout available.

Love at first sight!
Step inside, and the layout immediately impresses. The separate lounge is a sanctuary of comfort, complete with a built-out fireplace and alcoves that offer both style and practicality, and the inset shelving either side of the fireplace create a lovely visual focal point. Feature wallpaper adds a splash of personality, while the vaulted ceilings and inset lighting elevate the space, giving it a clean, contemporary feel. The kitchen/diner is airy and practical. Laminate flooring underfoot adds durability and style, while the fitted kitchen boasts a choice of integrated appliances—including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, and eye-level double oven and hob. The dining area, open to the kitchen, is perfect for entertaining or enjoying quiet meals at home, and there’s a useful double cupboard on entry for even more storage. Larger layouts even include a utility room or study, making the Ashby as versatile as it is practical.

The bedrooms are equally well-appointed and generously sized. The master suite features a walk-through wardrobe and en-suite shower room with a rain-head shower fitment – a lovely little touch of luxury. Bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with glass screens, shaver sockets, and mirrored vanity units with LED lighting—details that make daily life just that little bit easier. The rooms can obviously vary by home size/layout, and we have to say we’re particularly impressed with what’s incorporated into the 50ft x 20 layout, although all of the layouts should work well, having looked at them all closely.

Superb example
The Ashby is a superb example of what Fairway does best: creating homes that feel personal, polished, and perfectly suited to modern park home living. Crucially for buyers, they’ve delivered that at a specification level that works well visually, practically, and from a price perspective.
