Eric from Authory here. As always, we're keeping our eyes on the content and publishing industry. This year feels rather unfair, to say the least. Google pitched an AI writing tool to The Times, Spotify laid off employees from Gimlet Media & Parcast, and we're not holding our breath for Bob Iger to support writers.

That said, we're still here, typing out a newsletter, because at the end of the day, what you write and create matters–and it's worth saving!

So what can a software company do? We're focused on building features and creating content that supports our community, starting with this newsletter. Next month we'll highlight AI-adjacent tools (we'd welcome your opinion on that below), but until then, we're spotlighting our favorite features that are wildly underused.

With Authory you can…

Populate individual collections manually and automatically to create hyper-specific work sample pages and pitches.

Share links to individual pieces on your Authory account even if the original page is 404ing.

Showcase ghostwritten content by keeping it private to most people.

Share paywalled content by linking to a private collection on your Authory account.

If you're already using these features, great! If not, we've got resources below to walk you through them.

Forward them this email and have them sign up with this link.
