I love office TV shows. As a longtime remote worker, I’ve probably logged more hours watching fictional office life than I’ve spent in offices myself. There’s something about watching friendly office banter that replaces my need for in-person colleagues…and there’s nothing like watching toxic workplace drama to remind me of why I like working from home!

Over many years of TV watching and across many TV shows, certain series stand out not just for being great viewing, but for shaping my perspective on work. In reverse order, here are my favorites, and what I’ve learned from them:
