Whenever you import an article (or let Authory do it for you), we'll create a backup of said article.

You can see the backup in two ways:

On your portfolio or on any collection page, click on the content item and select "View article" details from the menu that opens:

Alternatively, you can go to your Content Archive and click on any article to see the backup:

No matter what happens to the article at its original publication, you'll always keep the backup that Authory created.
