Authory automatically imports all content created by you. In case you would like to perform any automatic action when an article, podcast, video or post is found and imported, then you can connect your Authory account to Zapier.

Examples for possible actions are:

Create a new Trigger

To get started, create a new Zap and select Authory as a Trigger.

There is two events to choose from:

  • New Content Added is triggered for any new content item that is added to your account.

  • New Content Added to Collection is triggered for any new content that is added to the specified collection. This does only trigger when the content is added the first time - not when content is added to a collection manually, or a new collection is created.

Authorize Zapier to access Authory

In the next step, connect your Authory account by entering your API key. You can find your API key on the Webhook Settings Page (go to your Account settings, then click "Integrations" in the sidebar menu).

Click on Yes, Continue and you're good to go.

Feel free to test the trigger and connect any action.

Configure which Collection to use for Trigger

If you want to use Zapier to monitor a single collection only, you'll need to enter the collection ID.

You can find the collection ID at the end of the URL when viewing collection details. The collection ID always starts with a c.

Using Authory with Zapier Transfers

Authory's Zapier integration supports loading all content you have in your account into Zapier out of the box. You can use Zapier Transfers to perform any bulk operation, like exporting all your data into Notion.
