Authory portfolios support Google Analytics 4 (GA4). To connect Google Analytics to your portfolio, you’ll need to add your Measurement ID (it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX) in Settings → Integrations.

This guide walks you through the process step by step.

What is a Measurement ID?

A Measurement ID is a unique identifier used by Google Analytics 4 to track visits to a website.
It always starts with:

G-

Example:

G-ABC123XYZ

  4. Click Save

If you don't have a Google Analytics account yet

  3. Set up your account:

    • Account name: Anything you like (e.g. “My Portfolio analytics”)

  7. Click Create

  8. Accept the Google Analytics terms

Now you can continue by setting up the Data collection (see steps above)

Verify That Tracking Works

Google Analytics usually starts receiving data within a few minutes, but it can take up to 24 hours.

To check:

  1. Open Google Analytics

  2. Go to Reports → Realtime

  3. Open your Authory portfolio in a new tab

  4. You should see at least one active user
